The island, with the people who live it

Little by little, we are weaving a network of local people to share Tenerife with: people who fish, who farm, who guide through the ravines, who cook with what the land of Arico gives, who work with clay or teach breathing by the sea.

There is no catalogue yet, and there may never be one. We want each experience to begin with a real encounter: with someone who knows a path because they have walked it all their life, with a table where every dish has a name behind it.

What we care about in every experience

  • It is led by people who live on the island, and what you pay reaches their hands.

  • It moves at the pace of the place: small groups, no rush, leaving no trace in places that need rest.

  • It leaves you with more than a photo: a new word, a recipe, the story of a trail.

  • The island is a little better cared for after you have passed through.

Tenerife gives a lot: light, sea, mountains, silence. Getting to know it this way is a way of giving something back, and of letting it offer you more than you expected.

While the network grows

If there is something you would love to do, a walk, a local table, a yoga class at the house, diving with people from the area, write to us before you arrive. We will tell you who we can put you in touch with and whether it fits your dates. Everything depends on the availability of the people we work with.

Do you live on the island and do something you would like to share with our guests? We would love to meet you.
